Description

Turmeric essential oil is the essence of the turmeric plant, known as ‘golden spice’ in South Asia.  It is part of the Zingiberaceae family of herbs the same as Ginger. This plant is very popular in Ayurvedic medicines. Therefore, it is a household name in Indian houses for thousands of years.

Recent research indicates that turmeric oil is anti-allergic, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal, antiparasitic, antiviral and anti-worm. Due to this, this is one of the most complete essential oil. It is also a strong relaxant and balancer for aromatherapy. One of the major active compounds in this oil is curcumin, a super-powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Turmeric essential oil contains active compounds making it one of the most powerful healing herbs on the planet. We don’t recommend ingesting essential oil but there are turmeric pills which you can take a supplement.
